Hi, sometimes its attention span sometimes its time or my eyes, not letting me read. I went and bought a kindle touch it has really helped with all three. You can read until your attention span goes, it marks the page your on automatically. Then when your ready you can read some more. I have actually read more in the last two months, than I have in many years. This might be something to consider. Lots of free books, articles and short stories on amazon for the kindle, so it isn't costing me anything to read.
