The Steampunk Boiler Room

Hi, Blue! I've been in here for almost a week, and I can honestly say that I've never been associated with a friendlier, more supportive group of people. I, too, had never written anything steampunk, and my first story has already done quite well for itself. If you're enthusiastic, and love the genre, that will drive you to do well at it. Steampunk gives you quite a bit of "wiggle room" in how you approach things, as long as you stay consistent within your own designed world. If you can write action, or history, or scifi, or fantasy, you can write this. I'm looking forward to following your efforts!
