The Steampunk Boiler Room

I remember listening to a radio interview last year with a local science-fiction author and she was saying that Steampunk had made such big inroads into readers psyche that the bigger publishing houses where starting to see it as a mainstream genre. Can't remember the authors name but she was publicising her historical werewolf novel "Wolf Born". Memory is a bit rusty, but I think she has a big body of work and was writing a steampunk novel as her next project (while publicising the historical werewolf novel).
