Hi JRod, nice thought, and yes I enjoyed reading his story, but I am in the process of reading yours right now and i am enjoying it quite a bit. Beck Firing back up! and I will put our heads together later, probably this evening.

My process is I am going to finish reading your story. Then I am going to do something else for a little while. Then i will re-read the stories and do my review. When that is completed I discuss my findings with the other judges, and we come to a decision.

So enjoy the day and check back in later! You are definitely still in the running. Yes, Greg's CeruleanSon 's story is quite good and a wonderful read, but yours is too! Stand by your work and be proud of it. Besides the point of FLASH is that it is a very short story written in a very short time. In some ways it actually more difficult to write than a regular short story where you have a month to 6 weeks or longer to write.
