I might be wrong, but I don't think there is a 'preview item' button at the bottom of creating/editing an item. Like forum posts and emails, I think a preview item button would be immensely useful. I often make major changes to a forum's layout and sometimes they aren't as good as I hoped. It would be easier to make these changes with a preview button.
