Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. It's so interesting that you all have a different opinion on this. I guess the only person who knows whether or not it's right for me is me.

At the moment, I'm doing something writing-related everyday, including reviews, editing, re-writing, and, of course, writing itself. It makes me discipline myself, I'm doing something that helps me develop my writing skills every day, and it stops me from writing for the sake of it.

If I ever start a long piece, then I'll write a certain amount every day, to keep it moving forward.
