Hmm... I've been thinking... Do you remember my controversial post, "What A Loser!"? It garnered a whopping 70+ view count in a matter of days!!! I just realized people really want a heavy issue that would perk up their senses... other than some nonsense telephone chats... so here is the latest topic: ANONYMOUS REVIEWS!!!

What is the use/advantage of an anonymous review?

I'd give one answer, but I don't think it would suffice: If you personally know the author of the piece, then it would be very unlikely that you would just send him your criticism... the author might think you're not reviewing it objectively, or he might think you're just messing him up.

So what else? The choice to give an anonymous review wields a critical power for the reviewer, or should we say, hate-rater, right? If that is the case, is there anymore reason why anonymous reviewing should be allowed or promoted?
