Literary Devices for 100, Please?

If you're working on the bonus, this might help you figure out what kind of literary device you want to use and how to implement it in your novel.

One way Edgar Allan Poe set the mood in his stories was sometimes using specific sounds to lead thoughts down a path: "dull, dark, and soundless day in the autumn of the year" is how it begins and it leads us to thinking bout death and decay with not just the words but how they sound.

Oh, the beautiful things to learn from great authors.
