Here's everything you need to know about our March blogging challenge:

Starting March 1st, a prompt will be posted. It will be assigned one of three categories: Movie, Television, and Open.

You then publish a blog post that responds to the prompt. "Open" prompts can be either movie or television series (your choice).

All blog posts must contain the title of the movie or show, a link to its IMDB page, and an explanation for why you chose it and why it's significant to you. Please make sure you select the correct entry if there are multiple projects with the same name! For example, the upcoming "Veronica Mars" movie has a separate entry from the "Veronica Mars" television series, and each "Star Wars" movie and show has its own entry as well.

You must also post a link to the specific blog post here in this forum using the {entry:} WritingML tag.

You are not required to post daily. If you miss a day or several, you can post "catch-up" entries whenever you like as long as they're individually linked.

PRIZES: Anyone who completes 25 or more of the 31 prompts with quality entries will receive a Blogging Merit Badge! In addition, we will select an overall winner and runner-up based on the quality of the blog posts. The winner will receive a 100K Awardicon (or GP equivalent) for his or her blog; the runner-up will receive a 75K Awardicon (or GP equivalent) for theirs!

Overall quality of each entry will be determined based on the following criteria: (1) correct title and link to its IMDB page, (2) depth of information/detail about the movie or show - discussing actors, specific scenes, other bits of trivia or information, etc., and (3) personal connection - sharing information about yourself and why this particular movie was chosen. You will not receive any prizes (including the MB) if you just post links and/or quick, impersonal thoughts. We want to get to know you!
