Mighty writes about jobs and opportunities in "career updates and the like.

I replied: "I'm so far past 26 [age of her coworker] that it takes me a moment to remember where/when/what. I sure didn't have it together.

As an ENFP I never have! My ideals and passion? Yes. But beyond that I was clueless; the jobs available were not suitable and I didn't have the drive and focus you have. *Bigsmile*

By October you'll have made a decision. But still nice to have offers and options. And with work it doesn't seem like your whole life is on hold."

Charity Marie - <3 had another Zoomies get-together today. I'd like to join in ... after I'm set up for it and when I'm in a decent mood.

WEATHER:

*Tornado* Read on the internet: On Disqus regarding tropical storms coming, Hurricane Jose wrote: "Icky Vicky, Wilfred Brimley, А В Г"

Naples, Florida: 26 degrees, wet and windy.

Missoula: uncomfortable
AQI: 62 (not good; yesterday it was in the 30s).
Temp: 27 degrees. Dry as a bone.
Wind: barely, smoke settling in.

WRITING:

I was 'corrected' today IRL by a retired English professor about correcting people's poetry. Oh, to review or not review here on WDC! I still want to tell a newbie that 'haiku' has a meaning and that what she wrote was pleasant (in a fortune-cookie, Hallmark kinda way) but not a haiku by any stretch of the imagination.

As I told Holly, "That was an interesting discussion. I don't want to discourage anyone, especially if they are young, but false-praise doesn't help either. Those who want feedback should remember that roses have thorns."

MY LIFE: At least I sat and talked with Lundy, had a vanilla-hazelnut-malt, bought a melon (Sinful) and nectarines.
