2005-2020 a very short retrospect

So I responded to Elle like she responded to Charlie:

"It [her book, a.k.a. blog entry] ... was ... o v e r ... whelming.

I felt very very old reading it because apparently I don't retain certain aspects of my 'career' here. There were the early days (2005-2009) when Blogville was alive and kicking-ass and I was writing lots of poetry. Then most of the bloggers drifted off to facebookie or salon. I'm still in touch with quite a few. By 2009 I had settled into Montana and started to travel. My focus shifted to taking photos and meeting up with folks from WDC around the world: England, Sweden, Australia and Romania come to mind. Also, California, Iowa, Minnesota, Washington and Montana. By 2018 or so I started to write flash fiction and 2020 will be remembered as the year I entered contests and stopped journaling and almost stopped blogging.

Folks who influenced me? That's a-whole-nother bag-o-worms. "
