Faithful God

Faithful God, each daily step,
You make for Your own Purpose rare.
You give new life and strength adept,
removing every worthless care.

Faithful God, Your Way is True.
You guide each step of Earthly days.
My hope secure is all in You
in Joy embracing all Your Ways.

Faithful God, the care You give
along this road through every breath
will make each day for You I live
a gift of praise, until through death
I'm brought to serve You evermore
for You are this sheep's lasting Door.

Faithful God, in You I rest
from tests of life and daily deeds.
My heart is always fully blest
by You, the One, Who meets my needs.

Faithful God, Who sought this sheep
among the steep and rugged crags.
You've given me a place to sleep.
You've changed my clothes from shredded rags.
