January the seventh 2019 – A Good Day for Script Writing
A Good Day for Script Writing

It’s getting late, and I’m getting tired. Not tired because I’m still a little sick or because of the lack of sleep. I’m tired because it’s early morning right now. I was working on my WDC contest entry, and I looked at the time on my laptop and phone. I realized how late it was getting.

I could have put this off until later today. But I have done that before only to have it not getting done for one reason or another. No, it’s best if I do it now before I go to sleep instead of risking it not getting done again. I need to stop doing that no matter how I feel. It doesn’t have to be much. Like what I have written the last few days. But it does need to be something every day.

Now for the good news. At least I think that it’s good. I got a lot of writing done with my Taking Back What is Our's project yesterday. True, most of that goes to my demands at work. I didn’t have too much of that. I also did well because I have already been working on this project. It’s basically the still the same story. I’m just handling it a little different.

So, what did I accomplish yesterday with this project? I got my Outline and Treatment for the movie ready to begin. What do I mean by that? It means I got the scene number names done for both. I also got the one sentence sentences done for my Outline. I haven’t done the one sentence sentences for my Treatment yet. But I am ready to start doing that when I continue with this project. When will I start doing that, I’m not sure?

Originally, I was going to spend my next two days off work working on my WDC contest entry. But when I grabbed my laptop to start writing this Blog, I was thinking about my contest entry. I knew that I was going to be starting it in a few hours. So, I decided I would just save the Word document with the title. At first, that is all I was going to do. But out of habit I started writing it, and the next thing that I know it’s been about an hour and a half later.

What does that mean now? Nothing has changed. I’m still going to be working on my WDC contest entry for the next two days. If it takes me that long to do it. I already have about half of it done already. It probably won’t take me that long to get it done. Whether it does, or it doesn’t I probably won’t spend all my writing time on it anyway. I still want to work on my project too. Even if it is only for a few hours. A lot depends on how much time I’ve got to do my writing. After all, it is Monday. That usually means I have a lot to do outside my house today. It usually does. Especially on Monday.
