Wow! A prompt I can run with! Who is awesome? Jesusa Christ is awesome of course! Why is Jesus Christ awesome? First of all He is awesome because He died for me! Romans 5: 8 says "But God demonstrates His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

What an awesome thing to wrap my mind around. The very God of the universe, the God who created me and everything in existence, loved me so much that He was willing to sacrifice His own Son that He might save me from my sin. You might say that He loved me more than He loved Himself because God is Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ is God. I believe that God is three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I don't know exactly how that works but I believe it by faith and I know that the second person, Jesus Christ became a human being and died in my place. It should have been me who paid the ultimate price for transgressing God's law. Instead it was God Himself who took my punishment and that is awesome! Absolutely awesome! Now He asks all those reading this to turn to Him as well. All you have to do is believe in Him! Do you believe?
