Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Words with multiple meanings can make for interesting conversation. I've given you some examples below, please use them somehow in your entry or come up with your own.

A "refrain" can mean a repeating phrase or verse in a song or poem, while in verb form it can mean to stop doing something.
To "leave" can mean to depart or to leave something behind.
"Sanction" can mean to approve or to boycott.
To "peruse" can mean to read something carefully or to skim it.
"Transparent" can mean invisible or obvious."

The words I am most interested in are the words that impact the kingdom of heaven. Words like Refrain have an impact because we are encouraged to refrain from sin. Leave also has an impact on the kingdom of God because as Christians we leave a lot behind. We leave behind the garments stained with sin for example. Sanction is important because we sanction righteousness, forgiveness, and love although admittedly we often fail in practicing them. I peruse the word of God each day or every time I prepare to write a message ort do a Bible study. Transparent refers to the crystal sea that is in heaven. We will cast our crowns down by it someday.
