I'm a Part of the Universe

I'm a part of the spiritual universe,
the atom of my soul
is a creation of the Almighty,
it is a gift to my physical body
from the All Knowing
and Unknowable Creator.

I'm a part of the physical universe,
the atoms of my body were created
in the hearts of stars.

I'm a part of the universe,
as I move through my physical life
--in the material cosmos--
my soul develops
the spiritual attributes
it needs to survive
when death
cuts the umbilical cord
connecting it
to my physical body.
