"O, Dad & Mom, I love you so!
But please I ask, where did you go?
Or could it be that I have left?
Emotions now are so bereft.

"My body hurts! My fur has blood!
And here I am down in the mud!
But who am I? And why'm I here?
The grass is soft, but sight's not clear!

"I cried, but no one heard my call.
I slipped as torrent made me fall.
I'm on my own, but where to go?
Unsafe and lost what can I know?"
