Wrapped Refrain: "A Piece of Art From Deep Within"

A piece of art from living soul
is by skilled hands completely whole.
It may be painting made with brush
a landscape far or near a thrush.
In oil, pastel, acrylic paint on canvas start
I lift from depths my dearest thought, a piece of art.

A work of heart from depths of me
I sculpt in full the face I see.
To spin the wheel to shape the bowl
will make my mind completely whole.
That when we fire the finished piece I'll see the part
I left of me, while shaped with hands a work of heart.

Instrumental song of living
or from voice a concert giving,
Played with digits keys, strings, reeds, bows
close the eyes and go where soul knows.
Make the song quite sweetly hoped and fundamental
that when we're through noted love's so instrumental.

From deep within this writer's frame
come words that chose, they know my name.
Great words of art in mental bliss,
they set apart my hopes to kiss.
Forming in stone the written words from sculpting pen,
the world now sees my lighted core from deep within.
