We live much of life amid unique choices. Joy is anchored in The One beyond our life.

Living on Narnian Time
Though The Chronicles of Narnia
were ostensibly written for children,
many adults,
including myself,
thoroughly enjoy the series.

One of my favorite aspects
of life
in Narnia
is how Narnian time
really doesn't affect time
in the real world.

In Prince Caspian we are told,
"Narnian time flows differently from ours."
In other words centuries of time
could pass in Narnia
as only as week or a year
of our time passes.

When I have a day
in which the time
just seems to expand
or
to stretch
to give me a much longer day
than normal,
then I feel like
I have lived the day
of Narnian time.

I often need that
if only
to rest my mind.

I hope
to explore
this more fully
later.

"For Aslan and for Narnia!"
