FALLING
We can allow all of our other hand-holds to be taken from where they have falsely rested on others and the world. In an instant we crash through every safety net: the love of our families, the connection with our friends, the security of our jobs, the framework of our governments and the structure of our societies. We fall through the care of doctors and the relief of pain medications.

We may even fall through our own consciousness.

As we fall we may struggle and yell and grasp, causing much suffering. But full love is when we crash straight through. When we have left all safety nets behind and fall into this center we find that its depths are unreachable but we are not falling through endless space.

We are held within the ever-unmoving vision that looks out from that ground of inner darkness.
