Lean On Me

PROMPT: Convince us to vote for you to be the leader of your country.

         BUT I consider myself to be a nice person! Too many political hopefuls rely upon slander in their campaigns; wouldn't I have to roll in the dirt and fling it, smear it? I'd have to be in cahoots with a procurer of this muck. I don't think there's enough soap in the world to clean up such a mess.

         What would be my platform? Do I have a leg to stand on? Would my voice be heard or heeded? Hmmm....

         I'd like to promote acceptance, compassion, and tolerance; the A.C.T. program. Citizens need to support each other NOT tear each other down. I can hear strains of my campaign music flitting through my brain. Remember these lyrics? "Lean on me when you're not strong. I'll be your friend to help you carry on."
