THE TRUE CELIBATE
Two monks who had taken vows of sannyas were traveling together down a road.

Coming around the bend, they met a beautiful young girl wearing a fine silk sari, unable to cross the muddy intersection.

"Come on, girl" said the enlightened monk, and then lifting her in his arms,
he carried her safely over the mud.
Later that night when the two monks reached the Ashram.

The younger monk could no longer restrain himself, and told their Guru about what had transpired during their journey to the Ashram, and then added: "He should have known better! we monks don't go near females," especially not young lovely ones.

It is wrong and dangerous. You should discipline him!"
The wise Guru calmly replied: "He left the girl there,
why are you still carrying her?"
