In Canada We Are Obsessed With Weather
PROMPT: Describe your current weather....
Oh, don't get me started. I don't need any extra encouragement to complain, moan, bitch, lament, and curse 'my' weather; I'm living in Canada, the Great White North. Recent news reports have referred to our snowstorms as a 'winter wallop'. Yeah, snow has a tendency to attract more snow; where one snowflake dares to wander , another follows. They're shiftless things snowflakes. They float and flutter. They swirl and dance. I'll even admit they sparkle in both sunlight and moonlight, but looks are deceiving. They never travel alone, and it's their snow packs, their snow drifts that are annoying. Accumulated winter precipitation is heavy! Not all of it may be left where it falls.
I submit two pieces of my writing re snow. I suppose it's a form of therapy to vent about it. This is really all I can do. The snow is inevitable.....
