Empathetic experience
”It’s human nature to want to take control.

We count the numbers of deaths and births

to keep track of the population.

We keep track of the flow of money and monitor the economy.

We watch the news because we want to know everything.

We try to predict the weather. When we get sick, we cure it.

When there aren't enough pandas, we breed them.

Too many strays? Spay and neuter. Control, control, control.

When our lives spin out of control, a lot of us kill ourselves.

That’s how much people need to feel in control.

But love. Love is the art of letting go.

Love is most beautiful when you allow it to run free.

In love, the heart is the only guide that truly knows where it’s going.

And love is terrifying, until it becomes the safest place you will ever know."
