Dear House
Dear house,

thanks for the memories, I write this with the mixture of tears and the blood that continues to flow from my veins.
I was five years old when the adventures began, adventures that have nurtured me for more than a lifetime. You were brand new.
I roamed the streets that had not been paved and watched as houses all around started springing up like beautiful flowers out of
the ground.

I roamed the woods behind the backyard with stones that lead the way to worlds previously unknown. There was time to climb trees
forge pathways to places where we would build forts and dream of battles that we might one day win. Quite a distance away we would
go to visit and old farmers house and play in the mud on the same night that we would camp out in the backyard.

I recall the last moments with mom. There was joy and sorrow comingled. We have been filled in so many ways with the love that has spurred us to greater love in other places. I pray that this new family can look forward to greater memories that one we might one day share together.
Thank you house.
I want for you nothing but the best.
