I've been a mom for 35 years now?!

As of today, I am the somewhat astounded mother of a thirty-five year old. Wow! Where have the years gone? I can still recall being thirty-five myself. I once laughed in disbelief when older people warned me to cherish my children's childhoods. I now realize those advice - givers were very wise. Knee deep in diapers,drool, boo-boos, teething, noise, and lack of sleep I was too busy to fully appreciate this. Basically, I never dreamed my kids would indeed grow up so quickly. They and I grew up together. It was both a slow and speedy journey. Life does march steadily and resolutely forward. One day I was snuggling a newborn and now I have a lovely adult daughter.
