What's Funny? New or Familiar? Do I have a preference?
Today's blogs...

30 Day Blogging Challenge โ€“ Jan. 2

Funny Friday: What does "funny" mean to you?

Funny. I am partial to physical humour. Abbot and Costello. Lee Evans. Jerry Lewis. Jim Carey. Rowan Atkinson.
I also like plays on words... silly things really.

I enjoy a good laugh; it is always welcome. Browsing Facebook often brings a few chuckles as well.

Laughing is a good reliever of tension - laughing at yourself when things go awry is always good. It is important not to take yourself too seriously. That tends to work well for me, but I find my husband is not so partial. I often have to contain myself around him or he will just get angry at my gleefulness - even if my laughter is our of nervousness. It has taken time to quash this... but I do it.

Border for my personal use.

Blog City โ€“ Day 304

Prompt: Do you need to always find new music, authors, or actors, or do you stick with what you already know you like?

I like to stay open to trying new music, authors and actors, but I also like to enjoy my 'old' favourites. It is not an all or nothing sort of thing. A lot of the time it depends on my mood. Particularly when music is involved. If I want to sing, I will need something I can sing along with - knowing the song helps.

I tend not to read the same author back to back. I have always liked a change to get a clearer sense of things.

For actors... I guess it is much the same as reading, but it is not as important to me.
