It is a beautiful Sunday in May.
It is a good day to pray,
A good day to take refuge in God.

Some baby whole carrots.

Tranquility comforts the lover of God
In stillness and silence my soul
Listens for the music of the spheres
Listens for the whispers of faith

the sun cast dark shadows across neighborhood streets,
while I contemplate my day's activities.

I am looking forward to
another double digit day in Las Vegas;
a beautiful cloudless day
without summer's triple digit temperatures
I wonder how long this will last.

I am looking forward to
enjoying another double digit day
without worrying about
turning on the cool air until
later this afternoon.
