Wish I had greater news ... insights ... something.

Everything is "fine".

Got up in time to catch my 07:15 bus after going to bed early last night. Two hours later I'm in San Isidro where I lived last year. Met Johnny at his new place; brought him calla lilies.

Went to hotel. Saw Warner; got room #42. Went to market to eat gallo pinto at Soda El Molino ...as always. Went to farmers' market. Saw Sam, Ilena, José, Ilieth, Eugenio, Marta. Treated myself to fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Wrote a short piece in prose in Spanish (using concrete senses, the letter/sound L, only present tense, only single third person, positive tone, fantasy). Made edited copies of "La Soledad" (lips sounds = v,m,w, simple past tense, senses, real, sad tone).

Took stroll in park. Saw Johnny with his new beau Josué. Saw other people I knew.

Went to pharmacy and weighed myself. Lost 8 pounds since I arrived which means I'm down about 2 pounds since August or 16 or more since December 2011. Need to lose a few more pounds this month and about 20 overall.

Watched two episodes of "Once Upon A Time". Amazingly warped!

So ... what's wrong with this picture? Nothing.

Tomorrow is Writer's Group at 6pm. Nothing else planned. Saturday I'll be off to somewhere as I want to be in Nicoya by the 15th for a nearby festival.

I'm even hoping I'll be able to "work" once I get back to Montana instead of just collapsing or being depressed like I was in the autumn. We shall see.

Spring isn't far away and I'm thinking of Paris for my birthday, Queen's day in Holland, May 17th in Norway.

Now ... that would be news!
