In Turrialba
me:

Somewhat better day. Arrived in Turrialba without any drama. Found a wonderful (new) hostel Casa de Lis (the owner Lisette is Dutch). Costs $10/night in the 4 room dormitory. Has wifi, television, coffee in the morning, kitchen...

Wifi is so important for me as I try to keep in touch. Last night in Orosi I had no internet, no television ...which is fine except I was also the only one in the hostel. very quiet. went to bed early.

So today, after my gallo pinto and a nice chat with Sara (also Dutch!) I took the bus to Paraiso and then the bus to Turrialba. Sat next to a nice young woman, Daniela, from La Suiza who has competed in white-water rafting in Canada.

Went to farmers market (feria) after arriving and bought bananas, an avocado, pejibaye, mazamorra.

I may stay here an extra day or two because I do like the town and there are a couple side trips I'd like to take. Also, Alberth decided to visit the Panama border. Hopefully, we'll meet up in a couple weeks to travel together.

Anyhoo... with wifi I'll try to post tomorrow. My nerves are calming down.
