From red to yellow
Me:

I write in a new notebook every season. Today is the end of Book 35. It is red. I use college ruled 1 subject 70 sheet notebooks. Cheap. Easy to use. I'm on page 3,131.

Tomorrow I'll sit and write my first page in a spanky new yellow book. It won't stay crisp and new. They never do. The beginnings and ends are when I wax pensive. Started as a letter to a friend they still provide a means to say what I'd like to say to him if he were available. He rarely is, so postcards, an occasional phone call and these notebooks must suffice.

It is amazing how many pages are pure drivel. *Laugh* But most of life is pure drivel, even for active adventurous people.

Someone told me I prefer a tranquil life, not a boring one. Ty was right of course.

May there be many more pages in my life.
