My house guests have left. Soon I'll be leaving too.

Toothache, headache. Hurt to talk on the phone when Alberth called.

rummy. Manny, Matthew and I played gin and 500. I hadn't played gin in years. Maybe if I just carry a deck of cards with me when I get back... It's a good way to meet people. Something one can do with most anyone.

Bitch in heat:

Candela should have puppies around October 22nd. She's not attracting the whole neighborhood this time but Loki (the white poodle) has been going nuts every time she's outside the gate. He wants her puppies to be his. It's quite annoying, especially since the family isn't there. They don't have to deal with the hysteria.

Gary's son Gary turns ten. I remember when I wrote "First drum set ...oh so long ago.
