Enga mellom fjella: where from across the meadow, poems sing from mountains and molehills.

Left handed day?
and ...left-handed individuals are inherently more creative?

ME:

I got my hair cut today. Marguerite and I finally met up in the same place and at the same time. My hair is shorter ...now I need to trim the beard! *Smile*

I also payed the rent today. So mundane... yet so important. Not too long a line at either bank.

Small things; but, if I allow them to overwhelm me they won't get done. That's my problem. Not that I cannot do something but that I must be careful when I do it to not set myself off balance. Anxiety. Avoidance. Depression. They all kill in the end. My goal is to make sure that they won't kill me today.

Left-handed me:

Whether is has made me creative or not I really cannot say. But it has posed issues at times, especially in my childhood. I had difficulty learning certain things from right-handed people. I practiced all one summer to improve my handwriting when I was around 10. I already knew I was different. If being left-handed were the only cross-to-bear...

Am I creative? I remember being awed as a kid and even now as an adult on how much talent some folks have that I don't. But I must say that I have put many a creative spin on what others treat as mundane ...so it may be partially true in my case.

I guess that August 13th is International Left-handed Day.

Rain:

A gentle rain at the moment. It sprinkled on my way back after my haircut. I had my white pants on trying to avoid the orange clay mud. But now safely home it's relaxing. I can sit with the lights on and doors open as there are fewer bugs flying around in the rain. And this place is buggy! Big bugs too. LOL

Gotta expect some rain during rainy season. It's like moving to Montana and cursing the snow. Lotta good that ever did. *Laugh*

The rain at least cleanses the air.

Thunder:

There's a rumble in the jungle tonight. Beware! I'm used to quiet. Sudden loud noises startle me. Thunder though ...priceless.
