Quiet
...after the rain.

ME:

Talked to friends. Ate my rice and beans with squash salad (gallo pinto con picadillo de ayote) which tasted better than it sounds.

Wrote an entry for the 30 day challenge in my other blog... quite happy with it. I couldn't write well in high school for final exams. Now I don't have problems. Can write because ...I just write.

Olympics:

Winding down. Boxing is on now ...doesn't interest me. Liked the canoe races earlier. Figured out I prefer handball to field hockey.

Computer?

Tired and worn out this evening in spite of doing nothing. I'll make this note here: need to check out buying new computer when I get back to the states. 17" Toshiba laptop like my landlord Steve? He got one for under $400. I need: number pad or easy way to do symbols not on the Qwerty board; CD/DVD slot; SD slot; video capabilities; Microphone and camera... for Skype. I don't do games ...too addictive. Don't want any software I don't use. I need more storage space and speed.

Noise:

The church, War Hammer (Martillos de Guerra), is "entertaining" me. I should be so glad it's not as loud as it used to be. Still annoying though. I prefer quiet to drums and yelling.
