Ides of July...
...came and went.

If you add my age with my friend Gary's we are now 100. Burnig down the house...

ME:

Frustrated. Computer problems still not resolved.

Pinto:

With chicken in a sweet/sour sauce today. Nice. Also drank a naranjilla con arroz. Don't know what naranjilla is in English.

All ice dreams of Svalbard...

My mind is a stange place. Had a thought for a short story about two friends who travel together in Svalbard (at 80º ...very north). Thought Matt Damon and his buddy Ben should play the parts when it's made into a movie. *Smirk*

Not the easiest nor cheapest place to visit...

Boredom:

...comes in all colors ...in England that would be grey skies and the blues. Here
boredom can be bright or dull but always warmish.

Some place to visit in early February:

I've thought south. Like Africa or Argentina or Australia... Any suggestions? Need to do reality check and look at prices of flights.

$2.140 from SJO to CPT (Cape Town) On Iberia through Madrid and London. From Panama City? More expensive! But the flight back through Amsterdam is much shorter. Plus there are flights through São Paulo. JNB (Johannesburg) is much cheaper. $1.623 with flights through Brasil or Dakar, Senegal. SJO/JNB is fine too except that it goes through NY and I won't. Flights are about 28 to 30 hours total. My aching...

Sidney, Australia? About $2,338. Brisbane is the same price through Dallas and LAX.

Santiago de Chile is $915. About 9-10 hours and on one of my favorite airlines. Easy-peasy...

We shall see. *Smile*
