Black is the color of my true love's eyes
...but color my eyes red...

ME:

Internet, bills to pay, friend's who don't quite understand...

Time is of the essence some days. And today is one of those days. Since this is stressful for me and I don't handle stress well ... Let's just say that today is not the day to be around ME.

Montana:

At least the heat there is dry. Here I've been lucky. My place captures a breeze. Cool enough to sleep without a/c.

As for using Missoula as a base of operations versus Costa Rica ...both have issues. I may be better off in Amsterdam for a year!

And yes, I do need to consider traveling for a year or two without a home base or with a cheap one (like at my sister's or at a friend's), put my stuff in Montana in storage, put my stuff here in storage (don't have much) and fly, ride, walk, whatever.

What would be best for me? A home base I can visit for a week every month to decompress. Missoula would be great for this, especially if it includes a First Friday, Thursday and Saturday.

Then three weeks somewhere exotic ...like Des Moines or Dakar or even Delhi. In two years I could visit all the major regions of the 7 continents. Antarctica would be on my list.

Two years would be a long long time.

Plans:

Don't have any. Should visit La Cruz in Guanacaste, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Jacó and Orosi before leaving. Need to check cheap flights to Cape Town or Windhoek.

Need to not worry.

Diet:

Must have a gallo pinto today. I think it helps keep me regular. En serio! Beans are good roughage and protein as well.

Still trying out new foods. Bought sugar cane to suck on yesterday. It's ... sweet.

No other snews. Just the normal aggravation and joy of daily life. My garden grows. I grow. And the seasons just fly by.
