Should men get paternity leave from work? This is something I’ve never considered. Perhaps because it doesn’t effect me personally. I believe in the equality of men and women. So I don’t see why a man shouldn’t get paternity leave, after all, he helped produce the child he should help take care of his son or daughter.

It’s a different time
And a different century
Change with the circumstances

This is the twenty-first century and we know more about the importance of fathers in the lives of children. Paternity leave will help the father band with the child and help the mother in one of the most difficult times of her life and probably their marriage.

I say let men have paternity leave. I’m not sure how well it would go over with a company; I mean women are still struggling for equal pay. Giving men paternity leave will help promote equality.
