Messages ...received, understood ...or not.

Hmm ...had an interesting exchange of messages on facebook with someone I met in Norway. I must say I think our paths crossed for a reason. What reason that may be I don't know. But I always meet interesting people who enrich my life and hope I can do so for others.

Skype:

Mavis went on Skype today and I caught her just in time! It was great hearing her voice. I could really use another vacation like last year's. Skype is great for keeping in touch. I guess they just made it illegal in Ethiopia though... along with other VOIP. Need to call my sister again and hope she answers.

Mall

Went to the mall with a friend of mine today. Now I don't have to go back! At least I know where it is. Did have an ice cream (cas) that I've been wanting to try as I don't like the juice but heard it's better as ice cream. It was. Small victories... Also found out it's probably cheaper to get new glasses in the U.S. And shoes ...let's not talk about the price of shoes in Costa Rica. That must wait until I get back to Montana as well.

Relationships:

It's complicated. In the sense that I'm receiving mixed messages and I don't know whether it's linguistic, cultural or personal. Everything's okay... no drama ...no problems. Just confused most of the time.

Photos:

Adding photos every day at facebook. A bit overwhelmed. I fortunately saved some maps. Makes it less frustrating trying to remember the specific names of places. Will help others who may visit and might help me upon my return; although, I do have an uncanny almost unconscious memory bank of mostly useless information including an internal map.
