Enga mellom fjella: where from across the meadow, poems sing from mountains and molehills.

False Spring
ME:

Quiet sunny day. Folks sitting outside of the bakery, walking along the river paths, standing on gondolas floating down the river.

Montana in False Spring.

Idyllic moments I need to treasure. The breeze is speaking of change. Do I stay or go? And where do I go?

The practicle side of me tells me to go back to Costa Rica and stay for 6 months. Part of me whispers that Iceland would be nice this March, even nicer in May ...as would Norway and Sweden. A grumpy voice says there's no rush, 2013 would do.

I have a higher balance in my bank accounts than I planned on. I can't claim destitution. Although a long trip or ill-planned one to Scandinavia would cure me of having too much money.

May is the time to visit Iceland and Norway before the tourist rush of June. Sweden and Copenhagen are lovely in the Spring. So is Montana. May is great in Costa Rica too; the rains begin turning everything green.

So many choices. None of them bad.

And I turn 60 soon.
