At my Dinner Party

30-Day Blogging Challenge September 1 to September 30, 2011 ~ Day 22 Prompt: You are putting on a dinner party, and have already invited all the friends and family that you want to attend. Now, you can invite three more people from anywhere in the world, and any time in history... who are they, and why? (no fictional characters!)

I would invite Baha’u’llah, the Persian poet Táhirih, and ‘Abdu’l-Baha. I want Baha’u’llah at the dinner party because He is the founder of the Baha’i faith and He revealed my favorite prayers. I want Táhirih because she wrote mystic poems and she is my favorite poet. I want ‘Abdu’l-Baha because he is Baha’u’llah’s son and exemplified Baha’u’llah’s teachings.
