The Rise of Water
ME:

The river is rising. High on my bank I do not worry. Like many things it isn't worth the worry.

Too bad I can't run the rest of my life that way!

Well... my "yellow" notepad was in a shirt pocket... save and sound... giving me fits. It's green by-the-way.

As is my current journal book. Although my writing has suffered a bit the last two weeks, I have no fear. My Muse will not leave me alone for long. Never does...

Plus, I have plenty of editing to do! Looked at sketches from July 2009 when I first went back to Costa Rica after so many years. I realize I need to keep better notes when I travel but at least I tried! *Wink*

It's raining here. Warm tomorrow, then more rain. The river should be up another foot or two by weekend. New channels will be carved and the flood plain will be renewed. Raining in Costa Rica too. At the beach this means temps are not as oppressive. In the highlands everything is greener. This is the first part of the "Green Season" known as invierno. Usually a bit of a break around July 1st and then the second part hits getting rainier and greyer until October. Unless one wants to visit the Caribbean, like Puerto Limon, better to vacation elsewhere until December. Montana is nice in September and October. *Smile*

I'm trying to be careful. Back bothered me last night ...again. So today there will be no lifting heavier than laundry, a book or a pencil.

No other news except I read a paperback murder-mystery by Martha Grimes, The Deer Leap, as I couldn't fall asleep last night. Wasn't too bad.

Oh... and my boiled underwear has dried and I ate rice-and-beans. *Smirk*
