Me on a bicycle?
ME:

Rode a bike yesterday. Me duele la cintura...

Pues. I'll be okay and I'm actually thinking of buying the green monster. It's semi-recumbant and with a couple adjustments would probably be fine. I need the exercise to exorcise some of my weight, work on my muscles and just get in better shape. I also need to explore the area more and without a car it's not happening.

I prefer to be independent. Walking or even taking a bus only helps so much. Buses end by 8 pm. Walking? If it's more than 3 miles, I just might not. One should never forget that getting "there" is only half the journey. There's this concept called "walking back". *Rolleyes*

Tuesday night was sharing a piece "Name Withheld" with Ben, Cedar and Leah. They are coming from a somewhat different planet (one I'm familiar with...). Next time, I'll just adjust, with what I bring and how I look at what they write.

I may start a writer's group myself. May spend Sunday at Bernice's Bakery as Shannon wants to meet at 2 pm now and I already told some folks, 6 pm. Two sessions? Shoot me now!

It would be prompt based 20 minute writing, sharing optional, then critique or craft chat. The focus and purpose being "writing".

I came up with categories: visual-shape, visual-color, sound, fragrance, movement, touch, taste; then, air, fire, water, earth, season, month; plus a "quote".

For instance: vermillion, slatted (shape), whisper, crushed yarrow, tai chi (movement), ashes (touch), celery, dry (air), star twinkle, green opaque water, acid brown peat, Season of Drying, Month of elk rut.

Quote? Maybe something like: "You have walked the bridge of knives", Melissa Kwasny, or "The have-a-heart traps we can't seem to enlarge".

Not all prompts need be used. Not even one. The idea is to create a sense of being surrounded by senses and then writing whatever the Muse dictates.

We shall see. It puts me in the role of teacher. And I'm not half bad at that. *Smile*

In other news... reached 73 yesterday. Sunny today. The river rises...
