Getting out from under overwhelm
...if only I knew how. *Rolleyes*

ME:

Considering:

1. I don't join groups well. Always feel on the outside.
2. I am easily depressed and anxious.
3. I do not easily trust people getting close emotionally.
4. I am distrustful of depending on other people.
5. I am not in a generous mood (with my time, resources) in general (I used to be...).

I have resolved to say no ...to being involved with any group of people who do not seem to be open to the general public, who do not seem to be interested in me as a person, who cannot respect boundaries, who aren't willing to accept me as I presently am ...complete with my own brand of insanity.

I will somehow need to explain this to someone today... kindly. But, to be true to myself and my present needs may mean saying no.

So wish me well!

Once I get past this situation and with the weather improving, I may get enough energy to tackle other issues with my writing and with my living situation (it's time for a Spring cleaning and getting rid of clutter).

In other news: student readings went well at Lois Welch's house last evening. I've heard these three students read before. Alex Johnson I know a bit better than the other two. So I was glad to see him and his family.

45 minute walk up the Rattlesnake. A slow saunter home in the rain. One sees more by walking, but some days a car would be convenient!

A good weekend in all.
