April thoughts
Jamál (Beauty), 14 Baha (Splendor), 168 BE – Sunday, April 3, 2011 about 4:33 PM Pacific Time

It is April. It is the last month in the first quarter of 2011. It is spring. The purple flags, in my neighbor’s yard, are blooming, while the oak tree, in that yard, has fresh new leaves. I have only one tree left in my front yard. I have a yard full of green weeds, which will turn brown and die over the next few weeks.

It is April. It is the fourth month of 2011. According to rumors, the world will end on December 21, 2012. That is over a year away. I do not think the world will end in 2012, at least, not unless the sun novas. I think there will be a change of some type. Humanity will become more away of the similarities between the various components of the human race.

It is April. I am 64 years old; I will be 65 on December 24, 2011. I am less stressed in some areas of my life and more stressed in others. I am still my mother’s caregiver; I will be her caregiver for the rest of her life. I could cry about what is happening to Mom, but I cannot cry in front of her because she would not understand.

It is April. My mother turned 90 years old on March 19, 2011. Mom always wanted to live to be 100. Mom has Alzheimer’s disease and as her caregiver, I am not going to comment on her wish. At this point, my only desire is to make the years she has left as pleasant and happy as possible under the circumstances.
