Must buy a camera and a printer...

ME:

Need to spend money: a printer, a camera... so why don't I? I'm so used to not having transportation, so used to not having money (although it has been 3 1/2 years), so used to not having options that I just "don't" ...as in don't do anything.

My life is a snooze.

Brianna Ewert gave a wonderful presentation on the notion of abundance (sri) as opposed to zero-sum thinking. Personally, I think it ought to be published. Melissa also read at "Wild Mercy" and her stuff about taking apart an old barn to save the wood was great too.

Today, I read Luis Chaves poetry in Spanish. He hails from Costa Rica, so the landscape and people are familiar at times. Unfortunately, I sit there with my big bad-ass dictionary (in Spanish, no English) looking up words. Sometimes they aren't there... Oh well, gotta learn. It is tiring.

I want a NO-calorie day at Bernice's. Coffee and pastries are not a good diet. Went home and fried up halibut in olive oil and butter ...garlic powder, paprika, lemon and fresh cilantro. I think it would taste better in Seattle or Quepos.

So why a camera and printer? My camera is busted. I'll probably get a panasonic lumix. And I need to print out poetry so I can sort it and work on it. The little screen isn't enough and I need to sort so I can send out to get published, or at least self-publish which is what I intended at the beginning of last autumn. I'm slow.

Anyhoo, it's Friday and the library closes early. Still don't have my mifi sorted out either.
