Apple Juice in the Middle of the Night

I was hungry, so instead of getting me something to eat I opened a can of apple juice. Instead of eating something, I poured the cold liquid into a tall glass. I thought the apple juice would abate my hunger.

The apple juice did not stop the hunger, but it did put an end to my heartburn. I have hyperacidity, which acts up at odd times. I am supposed to take a Ranitidine tablet every night at bedtime. However, I think I forgot to take the tablet on Monday night. As a result, I got heartburn.

Something I ate could have caused the heartburn, but all I had for supper was rice and chicken. Those foods normally do not cause heartburn. I have to remember to take the Ranitidine every night because it helps with the hyperacidity problem.
