Mom is finally getting a hearing aid

Mom is finally getting a hearing aid. On Tuesday, we went to Better Hearing on South Rainbow and had Mom's hearing tested. We all ready knew she needed a hearing aid, the problem was money and qualifying for a loan. We went to another hearing aid store last month and didn't qualify.

Before we went to Better Hearing, I had decided Mom was going to get a hearing aid. I just didn't know how we were going to pay for it. When we got to Better Hearing the hearing specialist said we could make arrangements to pay in three monthly installments. The installments would have made living a little tighter, but Mom needed a hearing aid in her right ear.

I the office assistant run my information through their financing people. I qualified for a small loan, enough to get Mom one hearing aid with down payment we made. Mom's supposed to get the hearing aid next week. I am looking forward to Mom being able to hear me properly. I'm going to e-mail my brothers today and call my sister this weekend.
