My Muse? Labeling, organizing old writing sketches
[untitled]

After the honeymoon
the Muse left town
put on sun-shades
disguised in a gown:
taffeta, satin and tulle,
above torn jeans
worn soles in his shoes
a Minnie Pearl hat
(complete with a price tag)
would fool all the fools
...the Muse was amused.
Who'd know him?

Until he spoke,
stood up on the corner,
blew cold smoke,
terse verse and framed phrases;
Ah...
the melody of a Muse
(albeit masked)
still dazes.

The brimstone flowing
might not have given him away; but,

the hem of his discourse was showing.

Been busy and my Muse decided to take a break. Suggestions for a title?

Blah.

The air quality has sucked and my room won't cool down; but, cooler temps are on the way.And hopefully some rain to scrub the smoke out of the air.

At least my friend Leland got a copy of a magazine (out of Minnesota) he's been published in. There is hope. I read his draft for a chapbook (something I know about) and gave suggestions.

Met Mary Ellen and Wind at Butterfly Herbs. Wind suggested I house-sit to reduce my costs... It's tempting as I could divide time between here and elsewhere without having to maintain an apartment full-time. Hmmm... wonder what storage costs...

ME and my notepads:

Typed up labels on my manual Smith-Corona to put on notepads from mid-2003 to May 2009. Only a couple are missing (about 50 entries out of 5,000+) Now I need to label the earlier work which is in a number of different sized pads I used before I decided a 3x5 pocket memo pad would be best.

Now... as for entering all the crap... *Rolleyes* ...we writers could use secretaries!
