Took photos of the runners crossing the Higgins Bridge Saturday morning and later art exhibits at the MAM and newborn fronds of horse chestnuts.

The students are filling up the coffeehouses: laptops, books, papers and all. Oh, how I don't miss end-of-semester hysteria.

I went to a thesis reading at the Downtown Dance Collective on Main. Spoke to Laura Dunn, poet, and got her chapbook. Her mother brought a cake made in Oregon. I also was able to ask Bradin Farnworth about the use of place in his story placed in the Philippines. He drew from his knowledge of the culture.

I've decided to once again try to use this blog as a portal to my other writings. We'll see if this works better. My readership has waned and there isn't much I can do about that (I've tried).
