Entry from April 22nd 2008: "Chautauqua Summer, '63

Got up early but just fussed around the room. Did make a chicken-spinach on foccacia sandwich again though. *Smile*

Went with Michele to buy an Acer computer. I like its size and light weight, but had trouble downloading Skype. I lost connection twice at 97% downloaded. *Frown*

I put together a 'care package' of maroon and silver m&ms, 5 agate marbles, buffalo jerky, Evening in Missoula tea, two macaw feathers, fennel comfits, a JFK 50 cent piece and assorted other small things and sent them to Gary. The 'treasure' is for his 6 year old namesake; the blue monkey hat is for the 2 1/2 year old; the lavender is for a lovely lady; the moose poop is for Gary. *Smirk* I've been meaning to do this for months.

Montana: mostly sunny, windy, hit 74 degrees. Tomorrow it changes.

It is in the lifting of logs
that we notice that drops have strength,
that fear-cleansing tears,
erode like this river.
